What do the 3 digits on an airless nozzle mean ?
The size of a nozzle is indicated by a set of three digits. This combination contains two pieces of information, namely the first digit and the next two together. Let's take the example of an airless nozzle size "517". The first digit "5" represents the width of the spray pattern, i.e. 50°. Then the second and third numbers "17" represents the size of the bore, i.e. the nozzle opening, which in this case is 0,017″. You can find and buy your airless spray tips here.
